Classic Crystal Pearl Necklace

I bought this necklace as a gift for myself for Christmas, only worn it a couple of times and there is already significant wear and tear on the pearls. I don’t wear it while I shower or to sleep and somehow the pearls have been damaged, small pieces of fuzz also look to be stuck on the pearls by some sort of glue and it’s hard to take off. It’s super cute but up close it looks incredibly worn.
